Dignity & safeguarding
How this website handles information, your choices, and optional services that may stay off until enabled in settings.
Dignity in every story
People should not have to surrender their dignity to illustrate a need. We avoid invented personal testimonies and photographs presented as proof of activities that have not been verified.
Archive photographs are dated and credited. People pictured are not identified as beneficiaries and their inclusion does not imply endorsement. No case files or personal details about children are collected here.
Before publishing personal stories
The charity must assess consent, age-appropriate assent where relevant, the child’s best interests, image and story permissions, and risks from identification or location disclosure. A reuse licence alone does not establish consent for every fundraising use.
Operational safeguarding
This page describes editorial principles; it is not a full operational safeguarding policy on its own. Field work should follow an adopted policy, a designated safeguarding lead, verified partner procedures and secure reporting and escalation channels.
Reporting concerns
No safeguarding report form is active in this edition. This website is not an emergency or aid-request service. Use appropriate local emergency services for an immediate danger, where available.
