GAZA SUPPORT / OPEN & ACCOUNTABLE

Trust starts with clarity.

What this site explains today, how we intend to work with partners, and which features are not active on the website yet.

What is live on this website

Articles, programme information, the support explorer (a local preview only), cookie and accessibility controls, and — when enabled in site settings — email updates or browser notifications.

Online donations through PayPal and any public research submission forms stay off until they are enabled and configured. That is a technical and operational setting, not something you should infer from browsing pages alone.

Proposed delivery: from assessment to reporting

  1. Understand the need. Assess priorities with families and suitable local partners, including access needs and safeguarding risks.
  2. Confirm a deliverable plan. Verify partners, agree a costed budget, check procurement and access requirements, and publish the appeal’s purpose and limitations.
  3. Purchase and deliver responsibly. Record purchases and distribution; use authorised clinical providers for medicines and qualified professionals for psychological support.
  4. Check and report. Reconcile spending with delivery records, report dated results and explain delays, losses or changes. Protect beneficiary identities and sensitive health information.

This process describes how we intend to work — not proof that every step is happening now. Reporting should distinguish supplies purchased from supplies delivered and avoid counting the same household as a new beneficiary at every visit.

How programme budgets would work

Budgets should identify supplies and services, transport and storage, staffing, safeguarding, monitoring, administration and payment fees. No fixed allocation or “100% to beneficiaries” claim is made before actual costs are verified.

Each appeal must explain how restricted donations, surplus funds and shortfalls will be handled. If access fails, supporters should receive clear information about the applicable options before funds are redirected.

Modular housing: a separate feasibility decision

Imported mobile or modular buildings are one option under review, not a promised shipment. Any project needs verified entry and transport routes, permission to use safe land, suitable foundations, water, sanitation, power where needed, installation and ongoing maintenance. A housing appeal should open only once an achievable plan and full costs have been confirmed.

What you will not find here

There are no invented fundraising totals, beneficiary counts, delivery guarantees or endorsements. Archive photographs provide context only; they do not document Gaza Support’s field activities.

Checking organisations independently

If you want to verify any UK charity or fundraiser, use the official registers rather than relying on a website’s appearance alone.
